Forbes AAC makes all of our SnapLock keyguards in-house at our home office in Mansfield, Ohio. Because of this, our keyguard options are highly customizable. This article describes several of the keyguard customizations that we can offer.

Make a keyguard for any language software system that we offer on our high-tech devices.
- The only exception to this is very large grid sizes on our smaller screens. Please reach out to your local Assistive Technology Specialist with any specific questions!

Provide several keyguard color options, including:
- Shiny clear (standard offering)
- Matte clear (special request)
- Black (special request)
- Offer custom configurations for unique language systems. If the AAC user is utilizing a highly customized vocabulary file, send us a picture, and we can create a keyguard to fit.
- Provide keyguard openings in a variety of sizes and shapes. Traditional keyguards have a grid-like appearance with square or rectangular openings, but sometimes it can be appropriate to have openings that are smaller and/or in the shape of a circle. We can make this happen!
- Offer a "Progressive Keyguard Set" with funded communication devices. This is a set of 2-5 keyguards created in a variety of configurations. More information about this can be found here: What is a Progressive Keyguard Set and how can I order one?
