"Hot Corners" are shortcuts to actions that can be programmed into each corner of the screen. When the AAC User gazes on a corner, the programmed action will be initiated. "Hot Corners" can be useful for triggering frequently used functions so the AAC User can avoid navigating to the "Assistive Touch" menu. To learn more about "Assistive Touch," see How do I customize the "Assistive Touch" menu?
Please note: "Hot Corners" are only recommended for AAC Users with advanced operational skills, as they can be accidentally activated by users as they look around the screen.
This article will walk through how to program "Hot Corners" on a ProSlate 13 EE device.
- Open "Settings"
- Tap “Accessibility," and then "Touch."
- Select "Assistive Touch."
-
Scroll down and select "Hot Corners."
- On the menu that appears, you will be able to select actions for each of the four corners of the screen. Select "None" if you would not like an action to be programmed into that corner.
